About

This is the blog of Forced Migration Online (FMO). The FMO website provides instant access to a wide variety of online resources dealing with the situation of forced migrants worldwide. Designed for use by practitioners, policy makers, researchers, students or anyone interested in the field, FMO aims to give comprehensive information in an impartial environment and to promote increased awareness of human displacement issues to an international community of users. FMO is hosted by the Refugee Studies Centre, Oxford Department of International Development (ODID), University of Oxford.

The FMO team launched this Blog so that we could better inform users about our plans for FMO and flag current issues we think interesting, important and perhaps worthy of wider discussion. Most importantly, we seek your participation.

The FMO Blog provides an opportunity for users to comment upon content and technical aspects of the FMO portal. We also welcome suggestions about resources you think we should include and any other comments on how FMO might be improved.

Members of the FMO team regularly post messages on specific issues.
